Bumrah may have to undergo back surgery: Ruled out of IPL-2023 as well, and may take a long time to return
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who is out of Team India due to a back injury, may have to undergo surgery. They are also out of Indian Premier League 2023.
According to media reports, 29-year-old fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will have to undergo surgery to recover from the injury. He is currently undergoing the rehab process at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru (NCA).
Bumrah was ruled out of the team in September last year due to injury. After that, he had to leave the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. Jaspreet played the last match against Australia on 25 September in Hyderabad.

There is doubt over Bumrah’s playing in case India reaches the final of the World Test Championship (WTC). The WTC final is to be held in England in July. Bumrah is rehabbing in NCA
Bumrah plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL. He is currently undergoing the process of rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He has also been practicing bowling there for some time.
