Indian team captain Rohit Sharma kept his card hidden before the Indore Test. Suspense still remains on who will open with Rohit Sharma in the third Test starting on Wednesday at Holkar ground.

In the press conference a day before the match, when Rohit Sharma was asked whether KL is leaving Rahul to go behind playing vice-captaincy. So Sharma said no, there is no hidden hint behind him being banned from the vice-captaincy.

The selectors did not make KL Rahul the captain of the announced team for the last two Tests against Australia. Rahul is struggling with bad form. In such a situation, there are speculations that Shubman Gill will be seen opening in place of KL Rahul along with captain Rohit Sharma in the Indore Test.
